Halifax Rap Legend Jesse Dangerously has been making rap for more than half of his 30 years. He has released five solo albums, and toured Canada and the US. A disciple of 1988 to 1994 "golden era" hip hop, Dangerously's influences include the lilting hyperspeed of Chip Fu; the pop culture whirlwind of Das Efx; the indignance and unabashed political overtones of Public Enemy; the intricate rhyme schemes of Lord Finesse; and the cocky arrogance of teenaged LL Cool J or Fresh Prince. After more than a decade spent carving out a place for himself in the Halifax hip hop scene, Jesse relocated to Ottawa in 2007.THE DIGITAL HENCHMEN
Jordan Richer, Stephen Sloan and Darren Bird are the Digital Henchmen. Three experienced animators setting up shop under one roof with the humble goal of lighting a fire in the Ottawa animation industry. The trio is staking their territory in the short form market, including: animated shorts, music videos, instructional videos, webisodes, and commercials/advertising. With a wide array of technical know-how, backed up by strong traditional training, the Henchmen can walk the walk.
